Gate2Math is proud to be part of the global movement promoting accessible and open digital education. Below you’ll find a curated list of international and national OER (Open Educational Resource) projects. These initiatives share our mission and can inspire collaboration, content exchange, and long-term sustainability.

Global OER Initiatives

OER Project

Offers free, standards-aligned social studies curricula like the Big History Project and World History Project. Possiblity to collaborate on interdisciplinary math-history modules to enhance critical thinking and context-based math teaching.

UNESCO OER

UNESCO promotes global sharing of OER and supports policy development and capacity building. Creators in our community are aligning Gate2Math’s materials with UNESCO’s framework aiming at joining their OER Dynamic Coalition for global recognition.

OER Commons

A digital hub with thousands of free teaching and learning resources across subjects. As creators community we also aim to publish Gate2Math resources on OER Commons to broaden reach and encourage remixing and adaptation.

OpenStax

Provides free, peer-reviewed digital textbooks for higher education in subjects including math.
We highly recommend OpenStax books as supplementary material for Gate2Math’s high-level math resources.

Khan Academy

A global platform offering interactive lessons and exercises, particularly strong in math and science.
Future plans of the community aim to map Gate2Math topics to Khan Academy’s curriculum to support learners with varied content formats.

National and Regional OER Projects

Austria

Open Education Austria Advanced

Promotes institutional OER strategies and shared repositories among Austrian universities. We want to link Gate2Math with their repositories to increase academic collaboration and reuse.

OERhub.at

A federated Austrian search engine for OERs from higher education. The plans in the future also include submitting Gate2Math resources to this platform for broader discovery within Austria.

Estonia

e-Koolikott

National digital resource repository with K–12 learning materials in Estonian. The community will try to engage lcalization of Gate2Math materials for this platform to support Estonian educators and students.

AI Leap Initiative

National AI literacy project focused on preparing students for future tech careers.
A possible connection could be adding data and AI-driven math content to Gate2Math to support future-ready learning.

Portugal

ICDE Portuguese OER Project

Focuses on implementation of UNESCO OER principles in Portuguese-speaking countries.Community members from Portugal may translate and share Gate2Math materials across Lusophone countries via ICDE networks.

FenixEdu

An open-source education platform developed at IST Lisbon for academic and content management.
Integrating Gate2Math into FenixEdu-compatible systems would contribute for better adoption in Portugal.

Spain

STEM Collection

Spain’s OER repository used by several education authorities. Spanish sommunity members are planing submitting localized math resources to Agrega to expand multilingual support.

eXeLearning

An open-source tool from Spain for creating interactive and SCORM-compliant digital learning content.
The creator community members should consider using eXeLearning to author Gate2Math OERs and ensure compatibility with various LMS platforms.

Romania

CRED Project (Relevant Curriculum, Open Education for All)

Focuses on curriculum reform and open resource development for all students. Romanian members could collaborate on curriculum alignment and share Romanian-language Gate2Math resources.

Virtual School Library

Centralized national repository for open resources for public schools in Romania. The overall goal could be to nclude Gate2Math materials to ensure Romanian learners benefit from digital math OERs.
