Transnational Meeting in Portugal: Strengthening International Collaboration

On February 24, 2025, representatives from Gate2Math partner institutions gathered in Portugal for a transnational meeting aimed at fostering collaboration and advancing key project initiatives. The event brought together experts both in person and online to discuss critical developments, set strategic goals, and ensure the successful implementation of planned objectives.

The meeting focused on enhancing Open Educational Resources (OER), refining validation procedures, and strengthening dissemination strategies. Participants engaged in productive discussions about project progress, deadlines, and validation processes to ensure high-quality educational materials. Agreements were reached on final OER numbers, internal and external validation procedures, and strategies for expanding the project’s reach and impact.

Another key aspect of the meeting was the emphasis on effective dissemination and outreach. Partners explored ways to enhance engagement through targeted communication, leveraging various platforms to maximize project visibility. Plans were also set to expand the involvement of external validators and build a stronger professional network.

In addition, teacher training and assessment methodologies were highlighted as integral components of the project. Attendees discussed feedback mechanisms and the importance of continuous improvement to enhance the learning experience for students and educators alike.

Overall, the meeting reaffirmed the commitment of all partners to driving innovation in education through international collaboration.
